AnderZorg (Menzis) launches a so-called MSN buddy to communicate with its clients. Not a chatbot, but a real person who answers questions about contributions, compensations, switchovers and the like.
Many websites offer virtual help already, but with AnderZorg this assistant is a real employee working at the AnderZorg call centre. The Internet health insurer considers the deployment of this MSN buddy an 'efficient way to shorten the communication lines between client and insurer'.
'People adding our buddy immediately see AnderZorg appear among their friends. This makes this channel easily accessible. You can simply ask a question and the answer follows promptly,' says Erwin Duursma, marketing manager for the health insurer.
Not new
Chatting with AnderZorg is not new. Three years ago, the insurer started its business with LiveCom, the supplier of the chat application. 'Back then, we were the first health insurer using this type of application,' the marketing manager claims.
